Vantage Medical Group – Clinical Coordinator/Patient Navigator (Bilingual Chinese)
Description:
As a Clinical Coordinator & Patient Navigator, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of SpaceOAR, urology surgeries. You will spend time managing and putting together care teams for our patients. The CC/Patient Navigator is an advocate for the patient as well as family members through their care/cancer continuum. Additionally, you will handle administrative tasks that allow our company to thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient care plans by liaising with all necessary care providers and medical professionals to ensure patient needs are met
- Manage and coordinate SpaceOAR procedures
- Coordinate brachytherapy program
- Manage & schedule surgeries and procedures
- Manage patient schedule
- Work with medical staff and physicians to create patient care plans
- Refer as appropriate to collaborative areas
- Resolve conflicts between patients and their providers & patients and their insurance
- Help patients navigate their treatment and care options
- Ensure that all HIPAA regulations are being followed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 1+ year working in medical office/clinical setting
- Previous experience in a similar role is strongly preferred
- Bilingual Chinese required
- Working knowledge of key medical terminology
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Skill at implementing new protocols and procedures to optimize efficiency
Salary: $22-$25/hr
