
Dr. Qingliang Tony Wang, a CAIPA member and Director of the Jaffe Stroke Center at Maimonides Medical Center, along with Dr. Lisa Eng, a CAIPA member and OB-GYN, were recently honored by the Chinese-American Planning Council (CPC) Brooklyn Community Services Center and the Health Essential Association. These awards celebrate their years of dedicated service to low-income and immigrant communities, recognizing the positive impact they have made through their professional expertise.

CPC President Wayne Ho and Brooklyn Community Services Center Director Steve Mei extended their congratulations to Dr. Wang and the other four awardees, acknowledging the deep-rooted commitment these individuals have shown in supporting and uplifting the local community.
At the awards ceremony, Health Essential Association President Lina Chen presented Dr. Lisa Eng with the “Healthcare Practitioner Advisor Award” for her invaluable contributions. Dr. Eng, who immigrated to the United States at a young age, credited her achievements to her mother’s guidance and the support of her community. She also expressed heartfelt gratitude to her patients.
