《世界日報》 檢測車進華埠 有抗體不保證免疫

繼在布碌崙(布魯克林)及法拉盛設立新冠病毒流動檢測點後,亞美醫師協會(CAIPA)於6日啟用在曼哈頓華埠的流動檢測點;該會總裁和會長劉季高表示,自己接觸過不少抗體檢測呈陽性、但病毒檢測結果也呈陽性的患者,比起定性判斷的抗體檢測,紐約復工關鍵在於大力增加準確率最高的PCR核酸病毒檢測。

劉季高指出,有約三分之一新冠患者為無症狀者,且一些抗體檢測結果呈陽性者,做病毒測試後仍然呈陽性;市面上抗體檢測試劑良莠不齊,且目前尚無研究指出個體體內有多少抗體可以免於再次感染新冠,其結果並不能保證現在和未來具有抵抗新冠病毒感染的免疫力。

他說,病毒檢測呈陽性,說明其身體仍帶病毒,就算有抗體也仍具傳染性,他建議所有人都應當進行新冠核酸檢測,以避免一些無症狀感染者在不知情的情況下傳播病毒。

隨著紐約開始進行復工準備,劉季高認為確認回歸工作者是否「帶菌」最重要,將帶菌者繼續隔離保證他們不會將病毒帶回工作場所,而非帶菌者回到工作崗位也一定要繼續保持社交距離、配戴口罩。

目前協會已推出位於布碌崙的一個固定檢測亭和在華埠、法拉盛和日落公園三大華人聚集區的流動檢測車,並計畫與孔子大廈合作,普及對華埠耆老的檢測,以及在皇后區艾姆赫斯特(Elmhurst)再推出一輛檢測車,希望將檢測車開到不方便出門的民眾家門口提供服務。

對於是否需要家庭醫生推介問題,劉季高表示,如果自身有保險,最好先聯繫醫生並進行預約,沒有醫保者在紐約同樣可以免費接受檢測,只要聯繫亞美醫師協會,他們都會盡可能開具證明給希望檢測者。

協會醫療主任鄧穎智表示,他們對待所有檢測者都以假設其感染病毒為前提,保證檢測過程的全面清潔和消毒,從目前所獲得的檢測結果來看,二至三成檢測者都感染病毒。
