Now Hiring: OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Bayard Street Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established private practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician seeking comprehensive, hands-on experience across the full spectrum of women’s health. The position is particularly suited for someone with an interest in high-risk obstetrics, menopause care, hormone replacement therapy, and culturally responsive care for Asian communities.
Our advanced practice providers work closely with experienced OB/GYN physicians and receive extensive clinical training, direct physician mentorship, and ongoing support. Candidates who are eager to deepen their knowledge and develop long-term expertise in obstetrics and gynecology are encouraged to apply.
Clinical Responsibilities and Experience
The position may include:
- Routine and high-risk prenatal care in close collaboration with OB/GYN physicians
- Postpartum care and pregnancy-related counseling
- Annual examinations and preventive health screenings
- Contraception and family-planning counseling
- Evaluation and management of abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, fibroids, ovarian cysts, vaginal concerns, and other common gynecologic conditions
- Perimenopause and menopause evaluation
- Hormone replacement therapy counseling, initiation, and follow-up
- Preoperative and postoperative patient care
- Exposure to office-based procedures, ultrasound, imaging, and surgical patient management
- Patient education and long-term continuity of care

Qualifications
- Current or eligible New York State licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Strong interest in comprehensive women’s healthcare
- Interest in high-risk obstetrics, menopause care, and hormone replacement therapy
- Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing personalized and culturally responsive care
- Prior women’s health or OB/GYN experience is preferred but not required
Because our practice serves a significant Asian patient population, bilingual candidates are highly preferred, particularly those who speak Mandarin and/or Cantonese. Fluency in another Asian language is also valued.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary of $125,000–$175,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, clinical background, and schedule
