Community Health Event – CAIPA Board Member Dr. Yuanli Xie (Internal Medicine) provided an in-depth overview of common cancer screenings, including cervical, breast, colorectal, lung, and prostate cancers.

A recent World Journal article, titled “Mental Health Station: The Silent Crisis Among Asian Teens,” highlights the growing mental health challenges facing Chinese American youth.

CAIPA Foundation, in collaboration with NYC Council Member Susan Zhuang, State Assemblyman William Colton, the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, and other nonprofit organizations launched its Mental Health Station outreach series to raise awareness and reduce stigma surrounding mental health in the Asian American community. The first event in Brooklyn was held at the Chinese Community Social Service Center, with a focus on supporting the mental well-being of Asian senior men.

The CAIPA Foundation, in collaboration with the Taiwan Center and NYPD’s 109th Precinct, recently hosted a community seminar focused on scam prevention for seniors.
