Celebrating Culture, Unity & Joy

CAIPA was delighted to join the vibrant celebration of the 22nd Midsummer Water Festival at Sara D. Roosevelt Park in Manhattan, hosted by the Myanmar Chinese Association.

Hundreds of community members came together to enjoy a day filled with Myanmar traditional dance, delicious food, and blessings for prosperity. The spirit of unity was strong, with special appearances by NYC Mayor Eric Adams, NYS Senator Brian Kavanagh, NYC Council Member Chris Marte, Susan Zhuang,  Chinese Deputy Consul General LiPing Sun, and many other local community leaders.

This annual festival continues to be a beautiful reminder of the rich cultural heritage and shared joy within our diverse community.
