On July 22, 2025, CAIPA, in collaboration with Elderplan HomeFirst and the United Chinese Association of Brooklyn, hosted a community health talk on Cancer Screenings and Prevention, as part of the Meet the Doctor series. CAIPA Board Member Dr. Yuanli Xie (Internal Medicine) provided an in-depth overview of common cancer screenings, including cervical, breast, colorectal, lung, and prostate cancers. She also discussed screenings recommended for men and women at different ages.
