On March 3, 2026, CAIPA and Healthfirst hosted the 2026 Lunar New Year Celebration, bringing together over 600 attendees, including physicians, healthcare professionals, community partners, hospital leadership, business leaders, and friends of community organizations. The festive evening celebrated the Lunar New Year while further strengthening the partnership between CAIPA, Healthfirst, and the broader community.
Coinciding with the final day of Lunar New Year celebration, marked by the Lantern Festival which traditionally marks the close of the holiday season, the event featured a vibrant program of cultural performances, music, and dancing that highlighted the rich traditions of Asian communities.
Groups of CAIPA providers took the stage with energetic dance performances that brought excitement and a festive spirit to the evening. A highlight of the program was a special musical performance by Stephanie Wu, Healthfirst Vice President of Sales and Retention, State Programs, who delivered a memorable rendition of a beloved classic. She was accompanied by Healthfirst staff members who joined her as background dancers.
The evening also showcased impressive performances by young dancers. Chloe, a 10-year-old performer, presented a Chinese classical dance that demonstrated elegance and grace. In addition, talented children aged 8 to 10 from Star Ray Dance Studio performed a traditional sleeve dance, captivating the audience with their vibrant costumes and expressive choreography.
The celebration brought together CAIPA and Healthfirst staff, physician members, hospital leaders, industry and business partners, and community leaders, reflecting the strong collaboration between healthcare leaders and the communities they serve. The evening concluded with a shared sense of cultural pride, strengthened partnership, and optimism for the year ahead.
