CAIPA Foundation proudly supported the Apex for Youth 34th Inspiration Awards Gala at Cipriani South Street, joining over 600 leaders in support of Asian American youth from low-income and immigrant backgrounds.

Centered around the theme “Ignite,” the evening highlighted the importance of sparking potential, strengthening representation, and investing in the next generation. Inspiring voices—including Olympic gold medalist Eileen Gu and actress Avantika—reinforced the need to create space and opportunity for Asian American youth to grow and lead.

At the same time, the challenges facing Asian American youth remain urgent. Navigating cultural identity, intergenerational expectations, and experiences of discrimination continues to place significant pressure on many young people. Mental health concerns—often overlooked—persist, with Asian American youth experiencing disproportionately high levels of distress, including suicide.

The gala also highlighted the importance of continued investment in mentorship, education, and career development programs to better support Asian American youth.

CAIPA Foundation remains committed to working alongside partners like Apex for Youth to strengthen support systems, advance mental wellness, and help ignite a stronger, more resilient next generation.
