CAIPA celebrate the end of 2025 and welcomed the start of 2026 by hosting and attending numerous collaborative events. These included the celebration of CAIPA CEO & President Dr. George Liu by the Myanmar American Medical Education Society, the continuation of the CAIPA Foundation’s Food Pantry program and partnership community health screenings, CAIPA’s presence at legislative conferences to fight for equitable care, and the annual Lunar New Year celebration!

In the first quarter of 2026, CAIPA celebrated the Lunar New Year with many of our state and city elected officials, including New York Governor Kathy Hochul. Members of our leadership team were also honored throughout the city, including former COO Peggy Sheng who received the Legacy Award from the Chinese-American Planning Council.
