Yuanfen Chi, a clinical social worker representing CAIPA, led an engaging session on recognizing and addressing mental health challenges among older adults, highlighting early detection, emotional resilience, and community-based care.

A survey conducted during the event found that about one in five seniors expressed a need for counseling or emotional support, highlighting the growing importance of accessible mental health resources for older adults.
