CAIPA, in collaboration with Maimonides Medical Center and VNS Health, held a “Cancer Survivors Support Group” event at the Maimonides Cancer Center, celebrating Mother’s Day. The event featured chair yoga classes, refreshments, and a variety of gifts.
The organizers aim to provide a platform for cancer patients, cancer survivors, and their families to share treatment experiences, to process emotions, and to support each other, both physically and emotionally. This helps patients face the challenges of treatment with optimism and offers encouragement to everyone on their journey to overcoming cancer.
