Happy Brains, Happy Days: 2024 CME Meeting with Healthfirst & Maimonides Medical Center

On May 13th, NYC Comptroller Brad Lander hosted a discussion addressing AAPI community issues, such as city contract procurement, education, and language accessibility. Over 40 organizations, including Asian American Federation, CAIPA, and FCBA, joined with 60+ representatives.

CAIPA will assist the Chinese Christian Herald Crusades in hosting the Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar in May! The main venue of the conference will be held at the Sheraton Hotel in Flushing from May 16th to May 18th. CAIPA physicians: Dr. YuanLi Xie will be the speaker in Brooklyn on 5/4/24; Dr. Pauline Lau will host the group discussion in Flushing on 5/18/24; and Dr. WuHua Jing will be the speaker in Manhattan on 5/24/24.

CAIPA participated in the “2024 Community Health Fair” in Flushing, New York. Liver health experts from Mt. Sinai Health, Northwell Health System, and NYP Queens conducted vital educational seminars specifically for the Asian community. CAIPA Primary Care Physicians Dr. DingKun Liu and Dr. Haoxu Ouyang offered complimentary health consultations onsite.

The Federation of Chinese American and Chinese Canadian Medical Societies (FCMS Foundation) Annual Gala brought together nearly a hundred outstanding medical experts and excellent plastic surgeons from around the world in Manhattan
